Swan HillPlenty of fun for the young and young at heart.

Visitors are should to take a leisurely cruise on the Murray river on board the PS Pyap or the MV Kookaburra which depart daily.

Five wineries can be found in the region - Bullers Winery and Bests Winery are both open for cellar door sales. Tours of Bests Winery are provided at set times. Robinvale Wines and McWilliams Wines are located at Robinvale, and the Ashwood Grove Winery is at Wood Wood, although not open to visitors.

Ten minutes south of Swan Hill lies Lake Boga which was used as an air force flying boat depot in the second world war. Today the Lake is famous as one of the best gravel-bottom natural lakes in Australia and for it's high-speed water activities - why not try the jet skiing. Other attractions include Burrabliss Tea Rooms, unique Imperial Egg Gallery, and the fabulous Flying Boat Museum with restored Catalina Flying Boat.

North of Swan Hill, stop in at Raymers Lakeside Gardens and wander through beautifully maintained gardens and nursery. The unique Pheasant Farm & Aviaries is the largest free-range commercial pheasant farm in Australia open to the public, and tours are provided daily.

Take a trip out of Swan Hill and visit the magnificent Tooleybuc Sporting Club (45km north of Swan Hill), or head to Robinvale (140km north of Swan Hill). The town boasts superb Murray River access, magnificent aboriginal art/craft, and Kyndalyn Park Almonds, the largest almond producer in the Southern Hemisphere.
